About the project

During my internship, I was involved in a project where the task was to create a dynamic site for Machhapuchchhre Capital Limited to display necessary information to mutual fund unit holders, prospective unit holders, and anyone who needs to know about the firm, including its BODs, management team, department in-charges, products/services, and news and notices released by the organization. Users can view the net asset value (NAV) of mutual funds, either the latest value or historical data across various time frames. They can filter NAV by weeks, months, or days and view the data through charts. Users can also access information about various products and services currently being offered, the organization's location, download various reports, and send queries through the contact form.

The content on the site is dynamic it is managed through a dashboard (CMS), the site and the dashboard is connected to the Api which is responsible for crud operations against the database. The overall system is divided into three-tiers that is the frontend which is the site for the end users to interact with, the dashboard which helps in creating, updating, deleting content that is shown in the frontend and the Api which does crud operations against the database.
